Guacamole is a staple side as far as I’m concerned. I struggle to think of a savoury dish that I would not want to eat guacamole with – and quite right, too! Avocados are packed with good fats, vitamins and fibre, and they reduce cholesterol too, so you can feel much better about keeping a share pack of Doritos to yourself if you have this tasty dip to go with it (kidding I don’t do that anymore).
1 avocado
3 cloves garlic – chopped to within an inch of its life
Few shakes chilli flakes (Say it out loud it sounds cool)
Fresh herbs – chopped.. see above
Good squeeze of lime juice
Little bit of seasalt
This is only gonna work if your avocado is ripe, give it a little squeeze to find out, if it gives, its guac time. Just get everything in a bowl and mash it with a fork, its that easy, you now have no excuse to eat processed shop bought guacamole – you’re welcome.
This album will get you through a night that involves guacamole.
Thanks for reading x
