For those that don’t already know, I’m Rebel Kitchen’s blogger of the month for August. (Enter my celebratory Twitter competition here!) I first came across the good people at Rebel Kitchen while researching my eBook and already recognised them as a brand who were fighting the good fight against bad ingredients, so I was delighted to be given the opportunity to represent them this month.
To give you an idea of just how great these guys are, here’s an excerpt from their mission statement: “Yeah, we’re hard-wired to like salt, sweet and fat because in nature we didn’t get much of it and had to work hard to find it. But mother nature didn’t plan on big corporations processing food within an inch of it’s life , lacing it with too much sugar, salt, fat, additives and preservatives, where the lists of ingredients are so long and so hard to pronounce that they are no longer even food.” I don’t know about you but I couldn’t have said that better myself, and it sums up exactly how I feel about the state of food today.
Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be letting you in on a few tips and tricks for getting creative with Rebel Kitchen mylks. Until then, here’s a few words about my favourite..
I’m partial to chocolate, and when I was swigging through the rebel range my heart was very nearly won over by it. But chai mylk reigns hands down, it’s such an original taste and makes for a super light and warming dessert to cheer a chilly evening. I can’t say for sure, but a quick google search confirmed my presumption that Rebel Kitchen are the only UK brand to produce chai flavoured mylk.
