The most prominent thing in the Christmas preparations of many is gift wrapping, to some it’s a loathsome task put off until the last minute and to others it’s a joy. I (of course) fall into the latter category.
Throughout November I’ve been hoarding Christmas mags as though they were a porn stash. Now that we’re finally in the last stages of the countdown it’s time to put them to good use by snipping out all the pretty pictures and sticking them onto gifts to create a properly unique wrapping situation!
I love using brown wrapping paper the most, it gives a clean slate for further creativity..
Besides the brown roll, I went for a 3 for 2 deal at Paperchase for my wrapping paper this year – I think the colourful vintage one is a solid favourite (I finished the roll today!)
I’m a sucker for a big bow!
A roaring fire and sleepy border terrier aren’t essential (but are strongly recommended) for a successful gift wrapping session.
Have you bought all your Christmas gifts? Are they wrapped yet? Let me know in the comments!
