Last year – can I just say here, I cannot believe that it was entire year ago – I had an absolute ball at the Brighton Foodies Festival. I had just started blogging and took loads of relatively unskilled photos and wrote about them in a blog post that seems to me now as almost embarrassing.. poorly edited pics, horrific formatting, it’s got it all.
My blog skills have thankfully improved somewhat over the past year though so you can look forward to this year’s post as I’ll be attending once again! The festival will be on Hove Lawns from the 2nd to the 4th of May and if you’re gonna be in town you gotta get tickets. You can buy them on their website for £13 per grown-up.

As I’ve already said, I had an amazing time there last year, and it’s set to be an even better day out in 2015! There’s a new Chilli Food Market – with chilli challenges – that I will be racing towards, a vintage tea tent holding tea dances, a wine and champagne theatre, loads of awesome stalls selling more food than you could possible fit into your belly – believe me, I tried last year – and of course some awesome chef demonstrations.
So if you don’t have plans for the May day weekend, make them now, come to Brighton and hang out with a load of die hard foodies on the beautiful sunny lawns! Hope to see you there.
