It’s not that bold a statement if you say “according to me” right?
Quick intro to this blog post, I’m going to try a new thing where on Thursdays I post really short little bites about something (anything) food related to get a conversation going. So I hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think, and please join in – even if you’re really really new!!
I’ve shared this combo on Instagram and Twitter a couple times, and it always causes quite a stir.
Not a negative stir, of course, I’m not known for causing those. It just seems as though people have never heard of such a thing as combining marmite with houmous.
Which is weird, because I feel like I’ve been doing it forever and it’s the most normal, natural, obvious thing in the world. It was pretty much a staple combo in my family from super-early childhood.
It’s amazing on toast, in sandwiches, on ricecakes (loving these corn cakes from Kallo lately), on crackers, from a spoon, etc..
So anyway, the point of this blog post is to ask you: have you ever tried marmite and houmous? Or am I the weirdest person ever?
If you haven’t, please please please try it and tell me I’m not crazy.
Over and out.
