Before we begin, I should tell you something.
I’ve never had a pumpkin spice latte.
Considering the fact that it was first introduced in 2003, this is pretty neglectful of me. I got to thinking about why I’d never gotten round to it..
There’s the whole Starbucks taxes thing, of course. Or perhaps it’s because I live in perpetual fear of being thought of as basic. Oh, or it could be that one latte contains 49g (a lot) of sugar.
So when Bluebird Tea Co sent me their autumn collection, I did an actual squeal at the packet marked Spiced Pumpkin Pie.
A pumpkin spice drink made by a small company, local to me, using quality ingredients, who know their shit? Doesn’t get much better than that.
It was the first tea I brewed from the lot, and it lived up to my (very) high hopes and expectations. Guys, I love this tea so much I could do cartwheels.
It’s got all those wicked autumnal flavours without the use of a sugar syrup, so it’s already streets ahead of what’s already on the market.
It’s a chai tea, which is so in for autumn if Pinterest is anything to go by, and contains your best A/W friends: cinnamon, ginger and cloves.
Oh, and it’s complete with tiny little bats and pumpkins. Very cool touch, very cool touch indeed.
Long story short, I’m obsessed. This tea goes on sale today, I’ve already used up my sample packet and I’m gonna by myself a big old tin of it, this is officially my autumn staple. Get it here if you wanna jump on this train.
I’m off to eat some pie, see you tomorrow for my bake off bake along post!

What a crazy amount of sugar in a Starbucks latte – I used to drink one of those everyday when I was a student. Anyway, love chia tea and these sound so nice! 🙂
Mental isn’t it, I just think I’m not gonna put it in my body I’d rather get my sugar fix from good cake!! Yeah this stuff is boss x
Why do we (I)receive the mail about pumpkin twice this time?
Hi Sol, it’s because I was having trouble publishing the post and ended up posting it twice! Very sorry about that.
