It’s super hot outside, I have a bloody mary in my hand, I’m writing this from the garden with my legs outstretched in a desperate attempt to get even just a tiny little slight tan. This is a good Sunday. I don’t have any internet links for you this week because I’ve been spending my spare time away from screens when I can, and I’m keeping this post short because of the aforementioned sexy weather situation. But I do have way more food to show you than I did last week, so let’s do this.
I had the most amazing three course meal at the Half Moon in Plumpton this week, if you haven’t already checked out the blog post I wrote afterwards you can find it here.
I have finally finally finally been to Wahaca Brighton, I’ll be writing about it ASAP so look out for that this month!
It’s been 100% warm enough for bare legs like all week. I’m so into it.
Brighton Festival is happening!! I always forget to actually do stuff at this time of year, and I’m determined to try and make the most of it this year. On Saturday night my friend and I wandered down to the Spiegeltent (I think/hope that’s how you spell it) for a couple of drinks and the atmosphere was amazing. Get down there if you can this week, it’s at the Old Steine.
New product alert: Kettle Chips have a new range and it’s the bangers. I’m obsessed with the fact that they’ve teamed up with equally high quality and established brands to bring out these new flavours, the whole thing is just right up my street. Firm fave: duck & plum sauce, 100%.
The boys at work requested Papa John’s cookies and I delivered, I used this recipe and apparently they taste just like the original (in a good way, obvi). They went down very well. Best served warm.
Soz I haven’t been writing so much lately, I’ve been so busy I’ve not even listened to Lemonade yet, so it’s not just CITK that’s going slightly neglected. x
