Hey, Check This Out

Happy Sunday Almost nothing of note has happened in my life this week. I drank a horrifying amount on Friday, I ate a lot of stuff, I watched a lot of Louis Theroux. I’ve really just been waiting patiently for February, I think. Apparently, coffee flour is about to be something that we can bake with. Sign me up. Sign. Me. Up. I mean it’s not going to taste like coffee (much to my despair) and it can only be used alongside regular flour as opposed to instead of, but progress is progress where coffee taking over the world is concerned, wouldn’t you agree? This week we learned that The Pioneer Woman watches Napoleon Dynamite while she cooks, and I don’t know about you but I love her all the more for it. I was glad to hear from another person very much in favour of eating in bed. What is with the up-tighties that hate it so much? When a food poisoning expert tells you which 6 foods they never ever eat, it’s probably a …

Hey, Check This Out

Happy Sunday I didn’t wake up until 1pm today. Am I still dreaming? Am I even here? I don’t even know anymore. Here’s this week immortalised in blog form. I’m sure you’ve seen this already, but Phil and Holly live on This Morning, fresh from an NTA after party, still wasted and giggling like 8 year olds completely made my day on Thursday. Would this happen anywhere other than the UK? I’ve also been listening to a lot of Chain Reaction this week, it’s all my favourite people interviewing all my other favourite people and it makes me very happy. On Thursday afternoon, I met my very best friend Jess at Nordic Coffee Collective to get some work done in a place that wasn’t my kitchen. It’s a lovely little spot to grab a coffee with plenty of room for both millenials glued to their laptops and 2 year olds having …

Hey, Check This Out

Happy Sunday Has anybody else been miserable all week? I’ve been 100% off my game, with 0% indication from my brain as to why. January syndrome, I’m guessing. I’d planned to spend the entire weekend cleaning and making lists to make myself feel more organised and together next week, but I got wasted on Friday night and did zero things on Saturday instead. Maybe I’ll squeeze in some adulting this afternoon. I’d put money on me not doing that though. Anyway.. Elsewhere These sausage rolls from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire feel particularly appropriate this week. Marina O’Loughlin reviewed a restaurant that a normal person could afford to actually go to, which made for a very enjoyable read. I am seeing recipes for vinegar pie everywhere. I’m going to need to make it soon. I would like a bagel grilled cheese. Immediately. I’d love to tell you about some good things that happened this week, but I’ve done literally nothing of note. So let’s talk about other stuff instead. Rocking the adult colouring …
