If you’ve scrolled through Instagram (mine in particular) this year you’ll know that Nákd bars are huge right now. They’re everywhere, and for good reason.
nakd bars have become my go-to snack. Recently, I’ve been trying to cram as much exercise as possible into my one hour lunch break in the form of a good few miles of power walking (which is going really well by the way, I totally recommend you use your lunchbreak for physical activity!). When I get back to the office, I’m ravenous, like hangry. Luckily for my colleagues, I’ve always got a couple of nakd bars stashed in my handbag because they’re the perfect refuelling snack.

I think the biggest thing these bars have going for them is the fact that there really is no bullshit hiding inside that wrapper. I’ve been avoiding packaged foods like the plague, particularly since Joanna Blythman’s recent revelations, but I feel safe with nakd bars. If you check the back of the label you’ll see the ingredients printed big and bold, some fruit, some nuts, maybe some natural flavouring, and that’s it. Always. That’s not to say that they’re totally angelic, being mostly date-based, they do pack a mild punch of naturally occurring sugar – but it’s not hidden, it’s not sneaky, and it’s not gross and processed.
my all time favourite flavour
If this is somehow the first time you’ve heard of nakd bars and you just can’t wait to get your hands on one, you can check out the full range of cereal bars on the Natural Balance Food website. You’ll also find Trek bars there, which I know my Mum has been a fan of on her rambles! Anyway, the first flavour you need to try is bakewell tart, I can’t stress that enough, it’s so good.
If you liked this post, make sure you share it with your friends and let @nakd know that you just can’t wait to try the bakewell tart flavour!

I was sent a mixed case of nakd bars to try before writing this post – but have been a fan of them for a l0ng time!
I’m a huge fan of nakd bars! I discovered them a couple of months ago, and now they’re my go to emergency snack, i’ve usually got one hanging around in my handbag, for those times when I can’t find anything thats not junk food when i’m out and about. I’ve introduced my Mum too, and she usually has a few stashed away at work for all the times she’s tempted by cake! The cocoa orange is my current favourite, but there’s a few in your picture I haven’t tried yet!

My Mum loves them too, I can’t recommend that bakewell tart flavour enough.. that’s definitely my fav now, it did used to be cocoa orange though! x
I’ve never heard of them before but I just went on to the website and they look so good! Also their recipes are incredible. Love the look of them x
I’m surprised to hear that you’ve never heard of them before!! But yes, absolutely do check them out x
I love nakd bars too! I tend to have them before workout for energy. My favourite are cocoa delight and cocoa orange. Some of other flavours I tried are also not too bad. I haven’t tried their bakewell tart yet but I definitely will at some point.
You totally, totally should!
I absolutely love these bars! It’s a pity they aren’t sold in Austria…at least I haven’t been able to find them yet 😦
Do they perhaps ship to you from their website? x
Haven’t checked this yet, but I’m not a fan of ordering food online…I’ve started making my own bars, tasting similar to those 🙂
